Getting this epic shot of a surfer at Blacks Beach with my water housing was quite the adventure. All the ingredients were there for an unforgettable session. It was a Santa Ana (east) winds day, negative tide, overhead surf, and high vibes. I remember the anticipation building as I geared up and made my way into the water, feeling the energy of the offshore winds whipping around me. With this emerald green wave rolling in, I knew it was the moment I had been waiting for.
